Foodie Friday

Image
Well my week hasn't gone as planned!  My new tiny house uses propane for cooking and heat.   I tried my stove on Wednesday and it did not work.  But I had frozen veggies and a microwave!  We discovered the next morning the propane bottle was gone.  But my friends who I am buying my house from had an extra one.  I am back in business now with plans to cook . . .  My original plan was to make meat loaf but I forgot to buy eggs!  But tonight I will cook up the ground beef with some onions and red bell pepper.  And I will cook some rice too.   I am getting hungry thinking about it!  Maybe in a few months I will get some of these!

Almost as hard as taking a photo of a toddler that seems to never stop moving! Now don't get me wrong here, I am not a big Halloween fan and that is a different post; but a couple of years ago I was taking photo's in the yard and just came up with the idea to illustrate this verse . . .   And she cooperated perfectly. No matter if I am sitting or walking she is normally against my leg or within touching distance; right now as I type she is lying next to my chair facing me and watching me as I type.  I have heard people say that when you rescue a dog from the pound that they are even more devoted. And I think

Afraid....writing for 5 minutes no thinking, no editing. Just writing what's on my mind. That is scary....it makes me Afraid . . .   That's it just 5 minutes! You may write in a journal, tablet, PC or on your phone.   Since this might be a hard topic for our 1st time let's do a Giveaway too.   So if you share in the comments of this post you will be entered in a drawing! I'll start . . . Go. . . Father God you know what makes me Afraid. You know the struggles I have with where I am going. No they aren't struggles they are fears. Fears that I am doing the right thing. I am Afraid I am missing your will. Your calling for me. For now. For this time. I am Afraid that I will move forward and realize that I made a mistake. That I was leadi
